Suchitra Tours & Travels has a rich history, Suchitra initially established as a movie production house before 1965, was converted into a tour and travel company in 1965 by the late Sardar Swarn Singh Ji. Some of the most iconic films produced under Suchitra (Prem Ji Manchanda) include Mera Saya, Iman Dharam, Dushman, Dost, Majboor, Mastana, Meera, Jabab, Chirag and others. However, in 1965, the company underwent a significant transformation when the late Sardar Swarn Singh took over leadership. Starting his career humbly as a driver within the company, he showcased exceptional leadership and foresight, strategically transitioning the company from film production to the burgeoning travel and tourism sector.
While the production unit remained in Mumbai, Sardar Swarn Singh moved to Delhi to lead the company's expansion into tourism and wellness.
